According to Wikipedia, “An online marketplace is a type of e-commerce website where product or service information is provided by multiple third parties.”
Not every industrial company is connected to b2b marketplaces, however a very important percentage of companies buy through Online Marketplaces. Many Companies use their own procurement systems or supplier portal. Also, there are companies that use a "Single Creditor" for most "C-Parts" Products.

The term C-parts is derived from the ABC analysis on eProcurement Systems. This means, High number of components needed to be bought in a certain Period, at a lower prise of each item, which corresponds to 50-70% of the total goods a company buys.

In the Majority of cases, C-parts are, for example, Typical Maintainance, Repair and Operations Articles, but also Hygiene, occupational safety, office Supplies and consumables (among many others).

Yes, Venforce is connected also with other B2B eProcurement Systems. Through several eProcurement Partners, we connect to the most common ERP Systems used in Germany.

Yes. This process could be done directly by Suppliers and Manufacturers. However Venforce partners have told us directly that only the "Business Case" to make an integration Project would require a lot of efforts, large ammounts of time, technical knoledge, compliance issues (For example, BME Code of conduct) and a whole set of Resource Barriers.

Based on previous process integrations, we could say that Venforce is the fastest and most Resource Friendly way to sell in the Mentioned Marketplaces.

The BME Code of Conduct provides member companies and their suppliers with an international and cross-industry minimum standard that provides a degree of basic protection for members, companies and their domestic and international partners.

The BME Code of Conduct includes the fundamental rules for:

  • Combating corruption
  • Antitrust agreements
  • Child labor and forced labor
  • Compliance with ethical principles towards suppliers (compliance)
  • Respect for human rights
  • Environmental and health protection
  • Fair working conditions

The BME Code of Conduct also refers to the international legal framework such as the “UN Global Compact” and thus to worldwide, cross-company contexts.

Around 12.000.000 buyers

Every Marketplace has their own Target Group, and they make their efforts to make them happier every day. However, we have noticed that the impact of the Sales is not only determined by the product attributes, prices and delivery times, but sales are also impacted by the quality of the buyers and their respective search and buy processes in each Marketplace.
